Windhoek, June 22 — The President of the Republic of Namibia, Her Excellency Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah will lead Namibia’s delegation to join on 22 June 2025 African Heads of State and Government, ministers, senior U.S. Government officials and business leaders from
U.S. and African companies at the 2025 US-Africa Business Summit. The Business Summit will be hosted by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) and the Government of the Republic of Angola in Luanda, Angola, from 22 to 25 June 2025 under the theme
“Pathways to Prosperity: A Shared Vision for U.S.-Africa Partnership.”
On Monday, 23 June 2025, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah will speak during the Plenary: Advancing US-Africa Energy Partnerships: From Dialogue to Delivery. On Tuesday, 24 June 2025, the President will deliver a statement during the session on Women in Leadership: Driving Innovation, Catalysing Investments, and Shaping Policy. Namibia’s participation in the U.S.-Africa Business Summit presents an
opportunity for the country to attract foreign investment, expand trade opportunities, including increasing investments in the priority sectors of agriculture, infrastructure, energy, mining, oil and gas.
The 2025 U.S.–Africa Business Summit sessions are aimed at fostering stronger economic ties and partnerships between the United States and African nations and expanding trade, investment, and business development opportunities. The Summit
will also focus on key issues and opportunities shaping U.S.-Africa trade and investment by bringing together participants for high-level discussions to explore critical challenges, defining priority sectors, and creating new pathways for economic
collaboration.
President Nandi-Ndaitwah will depart on Sunday, 22 June 2025, and will return to Namibia on Tuesday, 24 June 2025.
