The Presidency is pleased to announce that Ambassador Bonny Dumeni Haufiku has been appointed as the new Chief of Protocol, effective 1 November 2025. With over twenty years of diplomatic experience, Haufiku has served Namibia extensively within the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation and on diplomatic missions abroad.
In his new role, he will advise the President and the Presidency on protocol matters, ensuring diplomatic etiquette and coordination are upheld during state visits, official engagements, and international events. This appointment highlights Namibia’s ongoing efforts to enhance its diplomatic stature and uphold a reputation for professionalism on the global stage.
