Johannesburg, Aug 25 – HWPL Southern Africa yesterday brought together various religious groups for the Inaugural Africa Religious Peace Academy (ARPA), which convened at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa on Sunday 24 August 2025.
Hosted under the theme, āBridging Beliefs: Advancing Peace Through Interfaith Harmony in Africa,ā
Organized jointly by Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) and the Sikh Council of Africa, the Academy brought together diverse spectrum of faiths, including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, and African Traditional Religion (ATR) under one roof.
The highlights of the occasion were the historic signing of three Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with three HWPL partners, namely:The Sikh Council of Africa, the CRL Rights Commission, and the
Eswatini Women Muslim Organisation.
These partnerships reflect our shared vision of fostering interfaith harmony, protecting human rights, and building bridges of understanding across societies.
This is more than just an agreementāit is a call to action for a more peaceful and united Africa.
