Government Funds Radio Access Network Sites to Boost Connectivity in Under-Served Regions, Says ICT Ministry Interim Director

ICT SERVICES | While speaking at the Chief Regional Officers quarterly engagement, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology interim Executive Director Linda Aipinge-Nakale announced that Government has provided funding for the construction of Radio Access Network sites specifically in under-served and un-served areas to improve connectivity and accessibility of ICT infrastructure for mobile and broadcasting services. MICT is meeting with the Chief Regional Officers to engage and find common grounds on matters of decentralisation and update on initiatives driven by the Ministry.
