Windhoek, Aug 3- While Trump administration raises tariffs on African Countries, China has announced it will remove tariffs for all African Countries except Eswatini due to their relationship with Taiwan. The African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) is expected to expire end of September 2025, and the United States of America has already indicated they will not renew it. The African Growth and Opportunity Act. President Bill Clinton signed AGOA into law in 2000 (Title Trade and Development Act of 2000; P.L. 106–200) it is a piece of legislation that was approved by the U.S Congress in May 2000. The stated purpose of this legislation is to assist the economies of Sub-Saharan African and to improve economic relations between the United States and the region. After completing its initial 15-year period of validity, the AGOA legislation was extended on 29 June 2015 by a further 10 years, to 2025.
