DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 10 — The Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) has been recognized as one of the leading centers of excellence in tourism services, underscoring the country’s commitment to quality and sustainable development in the sector. Speaking on Tuesday at the 2025 Quality Achievements Conference organized by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) in Dubai, Nkoba Eliezer Mabula, deputy permanent secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, highlighted TANAPA’s achievements, according to a statement. “TANAPA is ISO 9001:2015 certified, and this standard not only makes a quality requirement but symbolizes a shared belief that quality is a habit, a culture, a mindset, and a standard of life,” said Mabula. The statement said the international conference serves as a strategic platform for quality experts, institutions, and public administrations to exchange best practices and foster collaboration with business leaders, academics, civil servants, and diplomats from across the globe. On behalf of Tanzania and TANAPA, Mabula expressed appreciation to ESQR for recognizing TANAPA’s dedication to quality management.
