Windhoek, July 11 -South African football is in mourning following the death of Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundown’s midfielder Jayden Adams, who has died at the age of 25, just a week after representing his country at the FIFA World Cup. According to reports, Adams was found dead at his home in Stellenbosch. The cause of his death has not yet been confirmed. In a statement, South Africa’s Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie, expressed his sorrow over the tragic news.
“It is with profound shock and a heavy heart that I have learned of the passing of Jayden Adams, midfielder for Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana international.”
