Windhoek, May 23– Namibia ‘s representative at Miss World 2025 has advanced into the final round of the Miss World head to head challenge making it into the top 20 in the world but second in Africa behind South Africa. The final takes place today in Hyderabad, India.
Representing the soulful city of Windhoek, where she was born and raised, Selma Kamanya steps onto the global stage with a message rooted in growth, resilience, and hope. An economist, real estate professional, and proud founder of the Innonation Foundation, Selma is Miss World Namibia 2025
With a degree in economics and a passion for entrepreneurship, Selma leads with purpose. Her foundation’s mission — to grow food and grow people — reflects a deep commitment to sustainable agriculture and mental health advocacy. For the past seven years, she has transformed lives through backyard gardens in underserved communities, teaching families to grow their own food and championing self-sufficiency and food security.
