On Wednesday, 3 September 2025, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah will attend the solemn Mass memorial service held in honor of the late police and correctional officers. The service is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM and will take place in Mariental, located in the Hardap Region.
This memorial service is a significant event aimed at paying tribute to the dedicated officers who have passed away while serving their country. It offers an opportunity for colleagues, families and the wider community to come together to remember the sacrifices and commitment of those who protected and served Namibia’s law enforcement and correctional systems.
