On the margins of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Kamel Ghribi, Executive Chair of the European Corporate Council on Africa and President of GKSD, at the Permanent Mission of Namibia in New York.
The meeting focused on unlocking investment opportunities in agro-processing, green industrialisation, and energy, while also strengthening cooperation in healthcare, infrastructure, and education. President Nandi-Ndaitwah underscored the importance of robust healthcare systems for sustainable development and welcomed GKSD’s interest in advancing medical innovation, capacity building, and access to quality health services in Namibia.
The President further highlighted the crucial role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in driving Namibia’s socio-economic transformation. By leveraging both public policy and private capital, PPPs can accelerate job creation, expand critical infrastructure, enhance healthcare delivery, and promote inclusive growth.
President Nandi-Ndaitwah welcomed GKSD’s commitment to partner with Namibia in advancing sustainable growth, job creation, and inclusive development, noting that strengthened collaboration across sectors would ensure long-term benefits for the Namibian people.
