President Nandi-Ndaitwah aligns NIPDB under International Relations and Trade

Windhoek, June 24 — President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah today announced that the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) will now be under the Ministry of International Relations and Trade. The Ministry of International Relations and Trade is working on a bill that will focus on Investment promotion and facilitation there by providing a more conducive Environment for domestic and foreign investment in the country.

The Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board Executives has released a media statement welcoming the President’s strategic alignment which is part of the broader effort to streamline the government’s economic development agenda and to enhance coordination across key institutions that drive investment, trade, and inclusive growth. ”The NIPDB welcomes this strategic alignment, which is part of a broader effort to streamline the government’s economic development agenda and to enhance coordination across key institutions that drive investment, trade, and inclusive growth.
