KABUL, Oct. 11 — Police have discovered four pieces of firearms during a series of operations in southern Afghanistan’s Helmand province, provincial police spokesman Ezatullah Haqqani said Saturday. The weaponry, which included two Kalashnikovs and two pistols, was discovered in a house in Gereshk district on Thursday, the official said. The official did not say if anyone has been arrested.
