One Economy Foundation Launches Innovative i- BreakFree SRH Web Application

Windhoek, July 3 — The One Economy Foundation has strengthened access to sexual and reproductive health information through the i-BreakFree SRH Web Application, a digital platform designed for adolescents and young people aged 13 to 35.

Funded by The Global Fund through the Ministry of Health and Social Services, the platform offers reliable information on HIV prevention, sexually transmitted infections, family planning, gender-based violence, mental health, and includes confidential self-screening tools, referrals to health services, and online support.

The Foundation has also established two SRH Digital Hubs at the Eenhana and Outapi Multi-Purpose Youth Centres, providing young people without internet access or smart devices with a safe space to use the platform and build digital skills.

The initiative supports Namibia’s National Youth Policy by promoting equitable access to health information and digital opportunities. In future, the platform will expand to include digital literacy, CV writing, job search support, and education and employment resources.Young people are encouraged to access the platform at www.iBreakFree.org.
