Namibia’s President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah Returns Home After Historic Address at 45th SADC Summit

Windhoek — President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has returned to Namibia following her participation in the 45th Southern African Development Community (SADC) Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government, held in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

The summit marked a significant milestone for President Nandi-Ndaitwah, who delivered her maiden address as Namibia’s Head of State. In her speech, she reaffirmed Namibia’s unwavering dedication to the core principles of regional integration, industrialization, peace, as well as sustainable and inclusive development.

Her address underscored the country’s vision to foster stronger collaboration among SADC member states, accelerate economic transformation through industrial growth, and promote long-lasting peace and development that benefits all citizens across the region.
