Interim Executive Director in the Ministry of ICT, Linda Aipinge-Nakale, has emphasized the crucial role of the postal sector as a backbone of Namibia’s economy. Speaking at the 28th Universal Postal Union Congress held on Thursday in Dubai, she highlighted the sector’s potential to drive socio-economic development through the support of e-commerce and financial inclusion services.
Aipinge-Nakale led Namibia’s delegation to the congress, which included senior officials from the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia and Namibia Post Limited. The gathering provided a platform to discuss innovations and opportunities for enhancing postal services in the digital age.
