Namibia to launch the 8th National Summit

Windhoek, July 13—The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) yesterday announced that they will launch the 8th National ICT summit slated for the 9th-11th of September 2024 in Windhoek, Namibia. Themed:’’Building Resilience to ‘Adapt or Die in the Era of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence(AI)’’, the summit aims to facilitate discussions, knowledge sharing and networking opporturnities that will drive sustainable growth and innovation in the ICT sector.

Executive Director of MICT, Dr. Audrin Mathe said ‘’ Participants can look forward to engaging in panel discussions, high-level presentations, workshops and demonstrations that will provide valuable insights into navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by digital transformation and AI”.

The Summit is expected to explore strategies for organizations and individuals to adapt, innovate and thrive in the face of technological disruption. MICT said ‘’Attendees can expect to gain actionable strategies, best practices and practical solutions to enhance their digital capabilities and remain competitive in a dynamic digital ecosystem.’’
