WINDHOEK, July 28 — The Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) on Friday announced plans for a series of international investment missions aimed at enhancing economic collaboration and attracting new investment opportunities. In the announcement, the NIPDB outlined its plans to visit Ghana, Russia, Cuba, Angola, Brazil, and China from September to November, for a range of high-profile events, including the Namibia Business Forum, the 7th China International Import Expo, and the Africa Global Business Forum. The NIPDB, tasked with promoting investments from both local and foreign sources and supporting micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises, views these missions as a key strategy to drive economic growth and job creation in Namibia. “The primary objective of these missions is to attract investments into Namibia by showcasing our country’s unique opportunities, facilitating business-to-business engagements, and strengthening bilateral economic ties with these countries,” the board said.
