Windhoek, January 19 – Namdia has confirmed the deceased Francis ”Gosh” Eiseb, a senior protection officer at Namdia murdered in the line of duty on Saturday evening 18 January 2025 during the high-profile armed robbery at the NAMDIA headquarters in Windhoek. One of the suspects who succumbed to his injury has been identified as Max Endjala, a familiar local squash player. The suspect that was detained at Namdia headquarters yesterday sustained injury, he is admitted at the hospital under police guard. In the latest report the police confirmed arrest of one of the two suspects who fled the scene yesterday. Diamonds worth millions of Namibia dollars have allegedly been stollen during the diamond heist.
NAMDIA has announced that a joint press conference with the Namibian Police will take place soon to update the nation on the armed robbery incident.
