MVA FUND EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO FAMILIES OF MASS CRASH

The MVA Fund extends heartfelt condolences to families and friends affected by the tragic road crash on Monday, 20 October, near Oniimbwele village between Onathinge and Ondangwa in the Oshana Region. The accident claimed nine lives and left several others injured, highlighting the urgent need for safer road practices.

The MVA Fund calls on all road users to stay alert and considerate, emphasizing that vigilance can save lives. In the past week alone, 67 road crashes were recorded nationwide. From January to 19 October 2025, there were 2,606 crashes resulting in 4,216 injuries and 401 fatalities.

Road crashes deeply impact families and communities but remain largely preventable through responsible driving and adherence to traffic laws. The Fund encourages the public to report accidents via the toll-free number 9682, as timely reports can save lives.
