Luderitz, March 30– The recent pledge of N$150,000 by Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) to the 2026 Lüderitz Crayfish Festival underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to community empowerment and sustainable development. Announced at the Lüderitz Crayfish Festival Fundraising Gala Dinner, this sponsorship is part of a larger collaborative effort by key stakeholders to support one of Namibia’s premier cultural and tourism events. John Ekongo, MTC’s Corporate Affairs Manager, highlighted the festival’s role as a crucial platform for SMEs, entrepreneurs, and local businesses, enabling them to display their products and services while invigorating economic activity and fostering sustainable livelihoods.
