Gibeon, April 7–: A 39 years old man found dead and body decomposed after he went missing between Wednesday, 03/04/2024 and Friday, 05/04/2024 at about 12h00 at a house in Frank Basson location, Gibeon. It is alleged that the lifeless body of Rochard Benson
Steyn, aged 39, Namibian male was found in the backyard room at his grandmother’s house. The
deceased was last seen on Wednesday when he went out. On Friday the family got suspicious
about a bad smell coming from his room and upon inspection they saw the deceased body lying
on the bed and summoned the police who forced open the door of the room and discovered the
decomposed body of the deceased lying face down on the bed. No foul play is suspected at this
stage and the causes of the death are unknown, but a postmortem examination will be conducted
to determine the cause. Next of kin were informed and investigation continues.
