His Excellency Lt. Gen. Epafras Denga Ndaitwah, a dedicated advocate for boy child inclusion, visited Grade 11 and 12 learners at Delta Secondary School in Windhoek to motivate them as they prepare for the 2025 National Examinations. Speaking to the students, he highlighted the critical role of leadership and effort in achieving success, stating, “Leadership is about doing the right things, management is about doing things right.”
The First Gentleman encouraged learners to take ownership of their futures by working hard and leveraging government opportunities such as free tertiary education and youth development programs. He underscored the importance of discipline and respect for elders, reminding the youth that “Discipline starts at home.” He called on the boy child in particular to be visible and purposeful: “Be seen, make your mark.”
Honorable Dino Balloti, Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts, and Culture, also addressed the learners with enthusiastic encouragement: “Put on your gig mode, ghost mode, and beast mode, this is your last stretch.” He stressed education as the foundation for a brighter future and a vital contributor to national development.
Closing the session, H.E. Ndaitwah urged the learners to embrace every opportunity and face challenges boldly, saying, “Let’s seize every opportunity and rise to the challenge! There is no challenge without any opportunity.”
