The Presidency announces that tomorrow, 26 November 2025, Namibians will head to the polls for the Regional Council and Local Authority Elections, a day marked as a public holiday.
Her Excellency Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, the First Citizen, will set the example by casting her vote at Emma Hoogenhout Primary School in Hochland Park, Windhoek, starting at 07:00 when polling stations open.
The Presidency urges all eligible voters to actively participate, reminding citizens to vote only in their registered constituencies as required by law.
Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah encourages a strong voter turnout, peaceful conduct, and the upholding of democratic values that bind the nation together.
