Climate change hurts harvesters of mopane worms in Botswana

image

FRANCISTOWN (BOTSWANA), Feb. 17– Photo taken on Feb. 6, 2025 shows mopane worms at a market in Francistown, Botswana. But climate change has led to a dramatic decline in mopane worm population, hurting those who rely on harvesting the worms for a living.
