Yesterday, the Bank of Namibia, through its Innovation Hub, successfully hosted an engagement under the theme “Igniting the Spark: Catalysts for a Thriving Fintech Ecosystem.”
The Bank was honoured to host Mr Seun Folorunso, Director of the Fintech Association of Nigeria, and Lyle Horsely, Head of Fintech at the South African Reserve Bank, who shared rich insights on how fintech ecosystems can thrive and contribute to modernising financial systems.
The Bank of Namibia remains committed to playing a catalyst role in supporting the fintech community, with the ultimate goal of modernising our financial system, enhancing responsiveness and ensuring that we achieve critical policy objectives such as financial inclusion and supporting sustainable economic growth.
