LUANDA, April 29 -- Angola exported approximately 94.41 million barrels of crude oil in the first quarter of 2024, totaling approximately 7.77 billion U.S. dollars, at an average oil price of 83.16 dollars per barrel.
This information was announced on Thursday by Angola's Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas as part of the presentation on the performance of the Angolan oil and gas industry.
Compared to the fourth quarter of 2023, the volume of exports experienced a decrease of 8.43 percent.
The primary destination for Angolan oil is China, accounting for 49.65 percent, followed by India at 13.12 percent and Spain at 8.76 percent.
