Road accident kills 3 students in N. Afghanistan

KABUL, Dec. 8 — Three commuters, all students, were killed and three others injured due to a road accident in the northern Afghanistan Faryab province on Monday, said Mawlawi Shamsudin Mohammadi, provincial director of the information and culture department. The deadly accident took place due to reckless driving, the official said without providing more details. This is the second traffic mishap in Afghanistan over the past two days. In the previous accident, two travelers were killed and 20 others sustained injuries as a passenger bus overturned in the northern Baghlan province on Sunday.
