Windhoek, Oct 21 — Namibia has recorded its second Mpox case in the country on Tuesday 21 October 2025. On 18 October 2025, the Ministry of Health and Social Services confirmed the first case of Mpox in Namibia. The patient currently receiving treatment at Swakopmund District Hospital, is stable and isolated. This case, linked to cross border travel within the SADC region. The latest case was detected today in Swakopmund.
