NEW DELHI, Dec. 7- At least five people were killed early Sunday when their car collided head-on with a truck in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh, local police confirmed by phone. The accident occurred in the state’s Jashpur district, and the impact was so violent that the car was completely crushed, killing all occupants instantly. Local residents alerted the police, who took the deceased to a local hospital. The identities of the deceased have not yet been established, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
