Windhoek, March 31 — The Namibian Government as per recommendation of the public service commission, term of section 5(1) read in conjunction with section 23(2)(ii) of the public service Act, 1995 (Act No.13 of 1995) approved the transfer of the following Executive Directors, effective 1 April 2025.
Ms. Ms. Gladice Pickering Pickering, has been moved from Ministry of Justice to the Office of the Prime Minister, while the executive Director in the Ministry of Health, Mr. Ben Nangombe has been moved to Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy. Esther Kaapanda, has been transferred from Ministry of Works to Industries, Mines and Energy without Accounting functions. Annely Haiphene, Executive Director in the Ministry of Fisheries and Marines Resources has been moved to Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs.Dr. Wilhelmina Shivute moved from Defence to Ministry of Urban and Rural Development. While Titus Ndove moved from Finance to Ministry of works. Lydia Indombo from labour to Gender, while Dr. Michael Humavindu from National Planning Commision to Ministry of Finance. Ambassador Penda Naanda from MICRO to Ministry of International Relations and Trade. Ndiitah moved from Gender to International Relations and Trade without Accounting functions. The Executive Director in the Ministry of Sport, Youth and National Services move to Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports and Culture, while Mr. Gerard Vries is moved from Higher education to Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports and Culture without accounting functions.
Sikongo Haihambo moved from Industrialization to the Ministry of Environment, while Nghituwamata had been moved from Agriculture to the Ministry of Agriculture, fisheries, Water and land reform. Teofelus Nghitila is being moved from Environment to Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and land reform without accounting functions. Penda Ithindi moved from Mines and energy to ministry of health and social services, while Nghidinua Daniel moved from Urban and Rural development to Ministry of justice and labour. I-Ben Nashandi is transferred from Prime Minister’s office to National Planning Commission.
