During a courtesy meeting with H.E. Dr. Magaly Henriquez, Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah acknowledged the ongoing political crisis in Venezuela and expressed her hope for a peaceful and lasting resolution.
Ambassador Henriquez briefed President Nandi-Ndaitwah on the severe challenges facing Venezuela and stressed the importance of international understanding and support, while remaining hopeful that a permanent solution will be reached.
Speaking on behalf of the Namibian people, President Nandi-Ndaitwah reiterated Namibia’s solidarity with Venezuela, emphasizing the country’s commitment to peace. She expressed a strong desire for tensions to ease, highlighting the importance of stability in Venezuela for regional and global peace, especially at a time when multilateralism and unity are crucial.
