Learners and management from Delta School, led by Ms. Draga Boscovic, head of the school’s delegation to Belgrade, paid a courtesy visit to President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah following their participation in the 56th International Gathering of Children of Europe, themed “Joy of Europe”, and the 32nd International Arts Competition.
During the meeting, Ms. Boscovic briefed the President on the learners’ experiences in Serbia and their opportunity to showcase Namibian creativity on an international stage.
President Nandi-Ndaitwah commended the group for flying the Namibian flag high, noting that their participation speaks directly to the country’s growing Creative Industry, a key pillar under NDP6 and one of the 8th Administration’s priority areas.
She further emphasized the importance of initiatives like these in strengthening people-to-people relations among nations and promoting cultural diplomacy, both of which are central to Namibia’s engagement with the world. The President added that exposing young people to such global experiences helps nurture their creativity, confidence, and appreciation for the shared humanity that connects us all.
