May 7– President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah will undertake a state visit to Angola from 8-9 May 2025. The visit marks the first official engagement between President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and His Excellency João Lourenço of Angola since her assumption of office on 21 March 2025. The two heads of state will discuss long-standing bonds of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation that exist between the two countries, noted in shared history, regional unity and mutual socio-economic interest. The visit presents an opportunity for the two countries to further deepen the strong bilateral and trade relations for the benefits of the two nations. The discussion will focus in strengthening bilateral ties and expedite progress on strategic areas of cooperation, especially in Agriculture, Trade and oil and gas. The president will depart on Thursday 8 May 2025 and will return on Friday 9 May 2025.
