Windhoek, March 17 — Namibian Government today unveiled the official Independence celebrations logo and theme for the next five years, from 2025 to 2029. In a press statement released by the Ministry of Information and Communication and Technology, the government said ” This logo serves as a powerful visual representation of our nation’s values, aspirations, and unwavering commitment to peace, Unity and nation- building.
The Yellow Sun on the logo symbolizes life, energy and prosperity. Blue represents our vast sky, the Atlantic Ocean, and cultural diversity. Green- Signifies natural vegetations and agricultural richness. Red – Represents the blood that was shed in the struggle for liberation. The theme for 2025 to 2029 Independence celebration is: ”Beyond 35 for a Prosperous Future.”
The theme underscores Namibia’s resilience, Unity and Vision for a brighter tomorrow, reinforcing our collective responsibility to build a stronger, more prosperous nation.
