Windhoek, July 24 –The Rob Youth Foundation South Africa Executive team has announced Ms. Tanyaradzwa Spiwe Ndudzo as the Executive Director of the newly established Rob Youth Foundation South Africa aim at implementing initiatives that will address social and economic challenges faced by the young people in South Africa and the Continent at large.
Tanyaradzwa Spiwe Ndudzo is an accomplished and passionate student at the University of Johannesburg, currently pursuing a master’s in social policy and development. She holds a BA humanities degree and a BA Honors in Development Studies and has a notable academic record, including being a Top 10 Academic Performer for Mayine Residence in 2023 and making the Dean’s List in 2021. Recognized as the Best Second-Year Student in Development Studies in 2021 and excelling in the BA Extended Fast Track in 2020, Tanyaradzwa has consistently demonstrated academic excellence.
Her leadership qualities and dedication to community engagement are evident from her involvement in various roles and programs. As part of the University of Johannesburg International Students Society (UJISS), she contributed to the Media and Marketing Team and was part of the Task Team of the Year. Her commitment to fostering student success is also highlighted by her role as a Student Mentor in the First Year Experience Peer Mentor Program from 2021 to 2022, and is currently a MAPS Humanites Mentor.
Tanyaradzwa’s leadership journey extends back to her school days, where she served as Head Girl, Netball 1st Team Captain, and Executive Council of Leaders member in 2018. She was also a Junior City Council member and Generation Earth Club member, reflecting her early commitment to community service and environmental awareness.
Her involvement in sports, including receiving the UJ Netball Spirit Award in 2022 and being recognized as the Best Netball Player of the Year in 2018, underscores her team spirit and dedication. Additionally, she was a Star Team Player in 2019.
Beyond her academic and extracurricular achievements, Tanyaradzwa has gained practical experience through various roles, including serving as an English 1C and 1D Tutor and participating in the Global Leadership Experience (GLE) Abroad program. She has also volunteered as an intern at Hlanganisa, where she assisted with reception work, audit preparation, and file management.
Tanyaradzwa’s commitment to excellence and leadership has also been recognized by her selection in the Miss UJ Top 30.
Tanyaradzwa is driven by a passion for helping others realize their potential, inspired by the belief that everyone is capable of achieving great things. Her empathetic nature, effective communication skills, and adaptability make her a motivational and inspirational figure. As an optimistic and enthusiastic extrovert, she enjoys engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and exploring innovative solutions to challenges. Tanyaradzwa’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of others, embodying the ethos of using her knowledge and experience to uplift those around her.
