Windhoek, June 27 — Brave Wariors and Orlando Pirates star Deon Hotto has pledged N$2 million (R2 million) to build a stadium in his hometown “It was not easy to put in the N$2 million, but I realised that I had a vision when I started the foundation, and with God’s speed, I know it will materialise,” Deon Hotto said as he launched the Deon Hotto Foundation. The 10,000-capacity stadium in Swakopmund, Namibia would also boast a netball court, a gym and an Adidas store. Adidas-sponsored Hotto is one of Pirates’ top earners – earning almost R600,000 per month. Construction will start this year and end in 2026.
