Usakos, April 9 — On Saturday, 06 April 2024 about 05h20 at Saamstaan location, Usakos, a 26-years-old Namibian male suspect unlawfully and intentionally entered into the house of Lena Williams, 29-year-old, Namibian female ex-girlfriend now deceased while the victim was out with friends and waited for her. Upon her arrival, when she entered the house, the suspect stabbed her several times on the body with a knife whereby she sustained serious injuries. She was taken to the hospital where she was declared dead on
arrival.
The suspect took their 03-years-old daughter and run away from the scene towards the mountains, but the kid was later found during the chase, unharmed. Her next of kin were informed.The Suspect was later arrested with the help of the Jelly-copter aero plane provided by one of the Farmers in the area. Prior to the incident the deceased was at the Police station on Friday, 2024/04/04 complaining of being threatened and harassed by the suspect. The matter was followed up but the suspect ran away and couldn’t be traced before he committed the murder. Police investigation continues.
