Omuramba Village, April 7 — On Friday, 05 April 2024 at around 04h03, Omuramba village, Epupa area.
Its alleged that Belinja Kambinda, aged 04, Namibian female from Okapare village was brought
at Epupa Clinic by her parents after being bitten by a scorpion on her left shoulder (back) on
04/04/2024 at about 21h30 at their house. The scorpion was found and killed. The deceased was
treated by the nurse and were referred to Opuwo to come see the doctor. The deceased and her
parents went back home but the condition of the deceased later got worse. The deceased than died
in the vehicle while been transported to Opuwo. Next of kin are informed. Postmortem will be
conducted to determine the cause of death.
