Okahandja, April 7– On Friday, 05 April 2024 at about 03h00 on
Karibib/Okahandja road 15 km from Okahandja, Otjozondjupa Region. It is alleged that a Truck
with Windhoek registration was on the way from Walvisbay to Windhoek carrying bags of rice
and at about 15km from Okahandja on the Karibib/Okahandja road the truck overturned and the
driver died at the scene. Deceased is Natanga Kalongola, Namibian male, aged 44. He was
traveling alone. Next of kin were notified. The body was transported to Okahandja State mortuary.
Police investigations continue.
