MTC PARTNERS WITH SOUND OF SUMMER TO PROVIDE SAFE TRANSPORT


Windhoek, December 17- – Mobile Telecommunications Company has partnered with the Savanna Sound of Summer
Festival to become its official Transport Partner for the event.
MTC will provide a dedicated bus service to ensure festival goers a safe journey to and from the festival.
This partnership is an opportunity to create an unforgettable experience where music, reliable connectivity, and safe
movement come together seamlessly.
A total of 8 65-seater MTC branded busses will be on duty doing two shifts, day shift between 10h00-16h00 and nightshift
between 22h00-02h00 during the festival. The busses are expected to do an estimated 48 round trips between Swakopmund,
Walvis Bay and Longbeach to assist approximately 3000 passengers attending the festival.
The sponsorship will also include prominent branding at bus terminals in Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, and Long Beach,
transforming them into high-visibility brand touchpoints.

from home, reinforcing our commitment to community well-being and promoting road safety during the festival and
throughout the festive season. We want to extend peace of mind and seamless transport, reinforcing our brand message:
“The Network That Gets You Home Safely.” We recognize that the festival is not just about great music and entertainment,
but it is also about connecting festival-goers securely” remarked Tim Ekandjo, Chief Brand, Marketing, Communications &
Sustainability Officer at MTC.
The Savanna Sound of Summer will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year marking a decade of bringing world-class music
and unforgettable experiences to Namibia’s coast and MTC wishes to recognize this as an unparalleled opportunity to
deepen its connection with the community.

Safety Advocates throughout this festive season so that we educate our fellow Namibians about the dangers of drinking and
driving and reckless behaviour on our roads” concluded Ekandjo.
