Eenhana, 9 September – The Rob Youth Foundation Ohangwena Regional Team on Friday 1 September 2023 paid a visit to Eenhana Vocational Training Centre to Discuss the possibilities of collaboration on various projects and activities in the regions. The main focus areas such as the Rob Youth Foundation Ohangwena Engela District hospital bed refurbishment Project and the upcoming Cleaning Campaign next week Saturday on the 16th of September 2023.
The Team introduced the Foundation to the Eenhana Vocational Training Centre Management and brief them of the projects and activities carried out so far in the region such as the Donation of 70 Mattresses to Engela state hospital, Distribution of Toiletries and Food items to learners with Disabilities at Uusko Nghaamwa Secondary School, Haimbili Haufiku Secondary School, Eenhana Primary School and The distribution of Sanitary pads to learners from the 33 Schools in Eenhana circuit.
Mr. Mazila Webster, Head of trainee support was impressed with what the RYF Ohangwena Team have done so far in the Region and the Organization at large. He also showed his excitement for the upcoming cleaning campaign and wished it was conducted on Friday. “I really wished it could be on Friday so I can make it with my safety boots and well prepared, but unfortunately I won’t be available “.
The Head of Trainees, encouraged the team to make use of Eenhana VTC graduates in different areas and give them the little that we have can, especially on the planned Engela District hospital refurbishment project.
The Management indicated that they will provide the RYF Ohngwena Team with the list of graduates that we can make use of when we have projects in the region.
In his concluding words Mr. Mazila left the team with the following word:”It’s only the youth that can economically and socially develop this country, even the freedom fighters were youth when they fought for this country “.
