Namibia Financial Inclusion Survey 2025 Data Collection Successfully Completed

The Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) announces the successful conclusion of the 2025 Namibia Financial Inclusion Survey (NFIS) data collection, which ran from 6 October to 4 November 2025.

During this period, data was gathered from 1,960 households across all 14 regions of Namibia, with support from 198 field staff dedicated to the exercise. The survey focused on how individuals and households access and utilize financial services such as banking, insurance, and savings.

The collected data is now entering the processing phase and will provide valuable insights to help the government and stakeholders improve financial inclusion policies and services nationwide. The NSA plans to release the NFIS findings by the end of March 2026.

Meanwhile, the NSA continues to carry out the Namibia Household Income and Expenditure Survey (NHIES), which started in April 2025 and will run until April 2026. Some households that participated in the NFIS may be surveyed again as part of the NHIES.

The NSA expresses gratitude to all participants, households, and law enforcement agencies for their cooperation and encourages continued support for upcoming surveys.
