Namibian Returning Ambassadors Express Gratitude and Affirm Loyalty to President Nandi-Ndaitwah

On 7 October 2025, at State House in Windhoek, Ambassador Vilio Hifindaka, Dean of Returning Heads of Mission, delivered remarks on behalf of Namibian Ambassadors and High Commissioners who have completed their diplomatic tours and returned home. Addressing Her Excellency Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President of the Republic of Namibia, Ambassador Hifindaka conveyed deep appreciation for the opportunity to serve the nation abroad and shared reflections on their diplomatic contributions.

Ambassador Hifindaka thanked President Nandi-Ndaitwah for the trust in representing Namibia internationally and highlighted the key objectives pursued during their missions, including strengthening bilateral relations, promoting trade and investment, assisting citizens overseas, and defending Namibia’s interests in multilateral forums. Each returning diplomat has provided thorough reports and handover notes to maintain continuity in ongoing partnerships and cooperation.

The ambassador praised President Nandi-Ndaitwah’s leadership, commending her commitment to good governance, accountability, and the rule of law, which uphold Namibia’s democratic credibility. He lauded her economic vision that focuses on natural resource beneficiation, renewable energy, agriculture, and infrastructure development areas attracting global partnerships and fostering sustainable growth.

He also celebrated her role as Namibia’s first female President, emphasizing the inspiration she provides to women and girls and her advancement of inclusivity and gender equality. Further, Ambassador Hifindaka recognized her prioritization of education, youth empowerment, and innovation as essential for the country’s future competitiveness.
