The Bank of Namibia has awarded four (4) bursaries to staff members pursuing postgraduate studies in investment management, financial analysis, energy economics, finance, banking, regulation and financial stability. These fields of study are strategically aligned with the Bank’s mandate to safeguard monetary and financial stability, strengthen regulatory oversight and contribute to Namibia’s sustainable economic growth.
The bursary recipients are also products of the Bank’s Graduate Accelerated Programme, an 18-month intensive programme that identifies and develops exceptional graduates by exposing them to the full spectrum of central banking functions. The most outstanding participants are retained, strengthening a highly skilled pipeline of professionals.
The Bank is proud to embed a culture of continuous learning and positioning itself to address complex challenges, from climate-related financial risks to technological change.
