Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture, Hon. Sanet Steenkamp, together with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Water, Fisheries and Land Reform, Hon. Ruth Masake and the Vice Chancellor of UNAM Prof. Kenneth Matengu, paid a courtesy visit to the Zambezi Regional Governor, Hon. Dorothy Kabula, on 24 August 2025.
Hon. Kabula welcomed the delegation and emphasised the importance of agriculture in the region, highlighting its role in driving regional development through the creation of local industries and businesses that support economic growth and community empowerment.
The delegation is on an ongoing visit to the region, which also included an assessment tour of the Kalimbeza Rice Project.
